I’m proud to share that Ensono Poland has been recognized as one of the Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work® for the second consecutive year.

What makes this achievement even more meaningful is that this year we moved into a larger category. We’ve grown to over 100 associates in Poland, yet our culture and commitment to our people have gone from strength to strength.

So, what makes Ensono Poland a great place to work? Let me share what I see every day.

A Culture That Starts At The Top, and Reaches Everyone

Ensono has spent the last 10 years building a culture rooted in collaboration, openness, transparency, curiosity, and innovation. These aren’t just words on a wall. Our executive leadership team has made a strong commitment to these values, and that commitment filters through everything we do, no matter which global location we work in.

Our associates in Poland aren’t siloed into a “local” office. We’re part of truly global teams, collaborating daily with colleagues in the US, the UK, and India. Many companies call themselves “global,” but the collaboration often stays local. At Ensono, working globally is the default. You’re contributing to projects across countries, learning from diverse perspectives, and building relationships that span continents. It’s an environment where people grow, develop, and genuinely enjoy their work.

Flexibility That Works For The Business And For You

At a time when many companies are mandating a return to the office, Ensono has chosen a different path. We’ve kept the option for fully remote work because we’ve proven it works. We deliver strong business outcomes, high client satisfaction, and meaningful collaboration, all while giving associates the flexibility they value.

That said, we also recognize the importance of being together. Our office is in Gdańsk, but our associates are spread across the entire country. Almost half are in the south of Poland. So, twice a year, we bring everyone together for company-wide events. In the summer, we gather for team building and collaboration. At carnival time, we celebrate the new year together. These moments matter because when you work remotely, meeting your colleagues face-to-face creates connections that last.

We also host leaders from our global teams who fly in to run workshops and work alongside their Polish associates. It’s a balance that works: remote by default, together when it counts.

Real Career Growth

At Ensono, we’re not just here to do the work. We’re here to build careers. Over the years, I’ve watched associates grow in ways that genuinely inspire me. We have people who started at the service desk and are now part of our AI team. That kind of progression doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because Ensono invests in training, provides exposure to global projects, and gives people opportunities to stretch into new areas.

One example I’m particularly proud of is our Mainframe Academy. Last year, we onboarded 10 associates who went through an intensive seven-month training program. Ensono invested significantly in their development, and they’ve since joined global mainframe teams. The feedback from leaders in the US has been overwhelmingly positive. They’re thrilled with the Polish talent on their teams.

Speaking of mainframe: we’ve built a strong reputation in Poland’s mainframe community. Around 30% of our associates work in this space, and we’re well recognized among mainframe experts. We even host the Polish DB2 user group conference at our Gdańsk office.

Agility At Scale

One thing that impresses me most, is Ensono’s ability to move fast. Even though we’re a global company with over 4,000 associates, we’ve preserved our agility. The path from idea to execution is short. Senior leaders actively support good ideas, no matter where they come from. If it’s a strong idea, people buy in and move quickly.

I’ve seen this firsthand in my own work, and I’ve seen it across teams, whether it’s network, mainframe, process management, or our Envision portal development team here in Poland.

Associates are given the space to pursue their ideas, show what they can do, and make a real impact. That kind of empowerment fuels innovation.
