Ensono Launches Security Maturity Assessment to Help Clients Improve Security Posture Through Actionable Insights
With security breaches at an all-time high, Ensono’s Security Maturity Assessment will help clients identify risks in security controls and protect their IT environments
Ensono, a leading end-to-end managed services provider, today announced the launch of its Security Maturity Assessment, which will offer clients actionable information to improve their security posture based on the Center for Internet Security’s (CIS) Top 18 Critical Security Controls, a leading security framework. The service was launched by Ensono’s global Security Consulting Practice, which consults and supports clients for their most mission-critical and complex security requirements.
Following a wave of high profile cyberattacks over the past year, including Kaseya and the Colonial Pipeline, worldwide spending on information security and related services is expected to reach $150 billion in 2021 – up 12 percent from a year ago, according to Gartner. But as companies continuously transform their IT landscape, it’s imperative they understand the effectiveness of their current security controls in protecting them from vulnerabilities and threats.
“At Ensono’s core, we keep our clients’ businesses up and running, and keeping IT environments secure is a critical part of that mission,” said Oliver Presland, vice president, global consulting services, Ensono. “Security compromise often happens because organizations don’t have a complete grasp of the vulnerabilities facing their companies and whether their controls are mature enough to guard against them. Ensono’s Security Maturity Assessment helps our clients pinpoint risks so they can make impactful changes.”
Whether a company recently suffered a breach, is in the midst of a digital transformation project or is going through M&A, Ensono’s Security Maturity Assessment is designed to identify control, process and reporting weaknesses, then make actionable recommendations which increase the protections that are in place. The assessment takes approximately six weeks and provides clients with a comprehensive report and prioritized recommendations to increase security maturity.
“At Ensono, we drive impactful digital transformations, and those transformations are purpose-built to help our clients’ businesses grow,” added Presland. “Security breaches can completely devastate a business, therefore the Security Maturity Assessment is a key security consulting capability we can use to ensure the long-term success for our clients.”
