Our client is a privately held corporation that produces innovative packaging materials used by consumers and businesses throughout the world. The company markets multiple brands, providing a unique solution for products of every size and weight. They have 1,300 employees and operate from numerous North American locations.
When the new CIO came on board in late 2014, he had to move quickly. The IT infrastructure of the growing company was antiquated. Servers were operating from 22 remote sites, while other operating systems were managed in their service provider’s data center. Reliability was weak, backup was lacking, expenses were high and the firm was disappointed with their provider’s service.

Our engineers then developed an IT solution that leveraged as much current technology as possible, but provided more flexibility. We recommended they migrate from dedicated servers to a cloud-based solution using Ensono Cloud, Ensono’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environment.
We used our storage and backup services to fill service gaps that had previously existed. Most important, we leveraged our ITSM disciplines to wrap processes of Change Management and Incident Management around everything we do in the environment.
