Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant – Intercompany is responsible for reviewing monthly intercompany transactions, resolving intercompany differences, and preparing reporting and other metrics for management. The role will be responsible for driving a consistent global intercompany process across the organization, ensuring adherence to accounting policies, and supporting regional accounts. This role requires excellent communication and will interact with all levels of management, external auditors, and regional accounting teams.

Management accounts reporting – monthly, quarterly and annually
Responsible for all reporting and financial accounting for the European entities including the group consolidation
Management and overall responsibility for UK Finance team
Working closely with the FP&A director in UK on business as usual items and strategic initiatives
Ownership of roll up reporting to parent company
Ownership of client Billing and margin reporting
UK cashflow forecasting
Monthly consolidated management accounts
Payroll ownership
Ownership of audits and VAT submissions
Lead the month and year end process in compliance with statutory regulations
Financial administration including ONS reporting
Ad hoc reporting to internal and external parties
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

An excellent understanding of accountancy procedures and principles
5 years PQE CIMA/ACCA
Excellent general IT user skills – Excel, Office, working knowledge of Workday would be an advantage
A least 7 years’ experience, ideally in a fast growing global high tech company or service sector company with previous experience as a Financial Controller
Strong experience in management reporting
Some travel to multiple UK wide sites when required
Proven track record of influencing stakeholders and senior management
Strong people leadership skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider Finance UK and European team
Previous management experience is essential
