Ensono and the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) today released results from their latest digital transformation study. The survey of 200 UK IT and business decision-makers reveals that more than half of enterprise leaders believe that digital transformation is changing their roles and responsibilities. 

Ensono released a new commissioned study, conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Ensono, evaluating the status of digital transformation in the insurance industry. The study reveals 35 percent of insurance decision-makers say rising customer expectations is the top driver behind digital transformation, ranking ahead of other business drivers like increasing upsell/cross-sell opportunities and deriving better data insights and predictive analytics on customers.

Ensono is a finalist in the 2017-2018 Cloud Awards Program in the category Best Hybrid Cloud Solution for its Hybrid IT suite. Its hybrid solutions were judged on latency, security and reliability. The cloud computing awards program celebrates excellence and innovation in the rapid-growth cloud computing market. The awarding body accepts applications worldwide, covering the US, Canada, Australia and EMEA.

Harte Hanks, a global marketing firm specializing in marketing, digital delivery, fulfillment, analytics and database management for Fortune 500 customers, selected Ensono to manage its digital transformation. Harte Hanks began working with Ensono in 2016 when the hybrid IT services provider managed Harte Hanks’ physical data centers in Texas and Pennsylvania. With the changing needs of its clients, the lack of flexibility with data centers made it difficult for Harte Hanks to serve clients in an effective manner. 

Maplin, the UK’s number one specialist technology retailer, has selected Ensono to help bring its signature instore customer experience online; improving flexibility and consumer choice.  Maplin’s new digital offering, built on Amazon Web Services (AWS), will be its first deployment of mission-critical applications onto the public cloud. This will allow the retailer to quickly adapt its digital platform to meet the ever-changing demands of the retail market, helping deliver better customer service. 

Print and technology specialist Brother International Europe, has selected hybrid IT services provider Ensono as its partner for its ambitious cloud-first strategy. The services overhaul will see a newly implemented hybrid approach to help Brother’s European business drive innovation, centred on the fast-paced and evolving needs of today’s consumer. 

Ensono recently opened the doors to its new office space in Conway, Ark. The company will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion at its new location, 1000 SWN Drive, on August 29. Key functions of Ensono’s Conway operations include product development, mainframe operations support, finance and procurement, and internal systems support. The new office will remain a company base for these services. 

Jeff VonDeylen, CEO of Ensono, received Finance Monthly’s 2017 CEO Award for his contribution and role in acquiring Attenda, a UK-based Hybrid IT service provider. Finance Monthly identifies and honors the most respected companies and their C-level executives based on achievements ranging from revenue growth, successful turnaround, expansion into new markets, successful M&A integration and more.  VonDeylen is recognized for a number of his achievements in the last 12 months, but most specifically, his efforts in acquiring Attenda.
