Celebrating Ensono’s Second Birthday

Ensono’s second birthday is a good occasion to stop and reflect on the distance we have come, and where we are heading. Our accomplishments within the past year were a global effort across all teams that involved many, many hours of planning and focus.


Listening to our clients

The changes we have made over the past year are based on business needs expressed by key clients during our Client Advisory Board meetings. Our clients are asking for our help in evolving their technology infrastructure, innovating their complex IT and solving business problems so they can focus on what they do best.

This input was taken to heart and we acted quickly, creating a structure that brings greater alignment and integration to our client-facing teams in North America and Europe. Our objective is to focus greater attention on new and existing client relationships, and plant the seeds for future growth as these relationships develop. We know that every client, every project, has the potential to open new doors as we become a trusted IT solutions partner.


Transformation in action

Thanks to our clients’ feedback, our existing relationships will continue to grow and thrive in 2018. We had significant renewal relationships with many of our current clients, and we grew our new client business by $83 million in new annual revenue.

We started 2017 with regionalized services, and I am happy to report our service offerings are becoming global! We are adding new technologies, new solutions and new clients from diverse industries, including retail (Maplin), state government (State of Kansas), and technology (Brother International Europe).

 In September 2016, Ensono acquired Attenda to extend our reach to support clients’ global operations and strengthen our service offerings. In June 2017, Ensono acquired Microsoft Cloud 2017 Productivity Partner of the Year, Inframon, to support our clients looking to transition applications to Azure.   

We are seeing explosive growth in both our Microsoft Azure and AWS Cloud capabilities. Fourth quarter annualized revenues for Hyperscale Cloud have grown more than 5 times compared to  a year ago. Our hybrid platform and consulting expertise is valued by clients, and migration to hybrid IT remains at the center of our roadmap for 2018.

We believe part of our success in transforming our business is measured by the awards and recognition we receive. Achieving positioning in Gartner’s June 2017 Magic Quadrant for Data Center Outsourcing and Infrastructure Utility Services, North America, will continue inspiring us to push full speed ahead into 2018 for bigger and better things.


Our people matter

Last, but certainly not least, we prioritized an emphasis on our associates while our workforce grew over 15%. Our people value the work environment and culture, and we’re continuously looking to make improvements and get their feedback.

We’ve launched a new corporate wellness platform to encourage more healthy habits amongst our associate base, and internal surveys for their honest, anonymous feedback. We’re listening to the ideas about work-life balance, and we are adding resources where they will make the greatest impact.

I am proud of the legacy we are building together, at a company where people and technology are powering solutions that make a difference so that our clients from healthcare to insurance to consumer services can be great at what they do.

I thank all our associates for their dedication and hard work to reach these milestones before our second birthday as Ensono.
