Ensono was named a winner at the 2017 Cornerstone Awards, recognized for its economic impact in the local community, specifically for its rebranding and headquarters redesign, by the Downers Grove Economic Development Corporation (DGEDC).
Each year, DGEDC recognizes three projects that were completed in the past twelve months. The award winners are chosen based on creativity and design in promotion, as well as the significance of the project’s impact on the Downers Grove economy.
In early 2016, Acxiom IT rebranded to Ensono and held an event to mark the occasion, inviting members of the Downers Grove community to Ensono’s corporate headquarters at Finley Point in Downers Grove.
Ensono has a 200,000-square-foot footprint in the community, including 84,500-square-feet of state-of-the-art headquarters and a 115,500-square-foot data center on Opus Place. The event and headquarters revamp made Ensono a stand-out choice among other candidates.
“We know Ensono had many choices on a headquarters location, and we are grateful they selected Downers Grove,” said Downers Grove Mayor Martin Tully. “This is one of the highest honors in the community, and I was as proud to present this award to Ensono as they were to receive it.”
Community involvement is a priority at Ensono. With a global team of more than 1,000 associates, Ensono offers flexible hours so its members can volunteer and participate in local events.
“We couldn’t ask for a better home for our headquarters than Downers Grove,” said Jeff VonDeylen, Ensono’s CEO. “One of our goals is to make a difference in the community, and it’s a privilege for our efforts to be recognized by the people and leaders of Downers Grove.”
