Ensono Ranked No. 4 Among Top Global Managed Service Providers by Channel Futures
September 12, 2018
Ensono ranks No. 4 among the top 501 managed service providers, according to Channel Futures 11th-annual MSP 501 Worldwide Company Rankings. As part of the Channel Futures MSP 501 Special Awards program, Ensono CEO Jeff VonDeylen was also named the 2018 Executive of the Year.
Ensono has experienced significant growth in the past three years, with three major acquisitions. Most recently, Ensono acquired Wipro’s hosted data center services business, which closed at the end of June. Additionally, Ensono has been recognized for its extensive mainframe and cloud managed services as Microsoft’s Datacenter Partner of the Year for 2018, an Azure Expert MSP and an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner.
“Our purpose at Ensono is to be a relentless ally to our clients, so we’re always looking for new ways to advance our managed services, whether that’s through new partnerships or expanding geographic reach through acquisition,” VonDeylen said. “We’re proud to come in at number four among the top MSPs in the world. It’s a true testament to our entire team’s dedication to Ensono clients.”
Channel Futures teamed with Clarity Channel Advisors to identify the top MSPs according to a unique methodology, which recognizes that not all revenue streams are created equal. They weighted revenue figures according to how well the applicant’s business strategy anticipates trends in the fast-evolving channel ecosystem.
The Executive of the Year award winner was selected from nominations submitted for the MSP 501 ranking and chosen for demonstrating innovation, grit, creativity and agility in business models and go-to-market strategies. VonDeylen has led Ensono through seismic shifts, including a spinoff from Acxiom IT in his first year as CEO.
“This year was our most competitive applicant pool yet, and our winners represent the highest performing MSPs in the industry,” said Kris Blackmon, Channel Futures content director and editor of the MSP 501. “Jeff’s leadership has guided Ensono’s rise to an industry powerhouse, and the lessons he learned on that journey—from both missteps and successes—educate the entire managed services market about how to navigate a business model evolution with sensitivity and clarity of vision.”
All MSP 501 winners and award recipients will appear on the Channel Futures website and in the fall edition of Channel Partners Online, as well as honored at the MSP 501 gala at Channel Partners Evolution on October 9-12 in Philadelphia.
