The Wiring Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing wiring changes for plant or datacenter production equipment layouts, working toward an economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws, regulations, and TCIA standards. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Analyzes problems, determines approach, make recommendations. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of the on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of network equipment and systems. Serves as the company liaison on technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. This job may include any aspect of field support, for network equipment and cabling infrastructure.

Ability to use cable testing devices.
Advanced, proven knowledge of cable installation.
Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of related experience.
Able to follow the design plans of a cable infrastructure system.
Hardware installation, troubleshooting, and repair skills in the area of network equipment.
