DevOps Engineer

Required Qualifications: 

• 6+ years’ experience as a DevOps engineer
• Significant experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills – Python/Go preferred
• Experience with common DevOps related tools, such as:

• Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform etc.

Experience with – 

• DevOps workflows and pipelines as well as optimization of existing DevOps environments and tools with security shift-left focus 

Good knowledge of Agile processes (planning/stand-ups/ retros etc.), and interact with cross-functional teams i.e., Development, Infrastructure, Security, Performance Engineering, and QA

Experience two or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure and GCP 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experienced across multiple enterprise-grade technical stacks, and able to evaluate and select the right tech for the job 
• Tenaciously takes on challenges and takes responsibility for outcomes 
• Ability to create a collaborative team environment where everyone’s opinion is heard, but you know when to be assertive, back down or escalate 
• Executive level communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating, and partnering with stakeholders across all levels of an organization 
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required
• Proficient in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS/Azure/GCP
• Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
