About the role and what you’ll be doing: 

Ensono is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic VP Hybrid Cloud Operations Leader to oversee and manage our global hybrid cloud operations. Based in Downers Grove, IL, this role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, service reliability, and strategic alignment with business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading global delivery, driving client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global hybrid cloud operations teams, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize hybrid cloud services, including public, private, and multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of cloud services with existing IT infrastructure.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous monitoring, proactive issue resolution, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to align operations with company objectives and industry best practices.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and solutions to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with global regulations and standards.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient operations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to global teams, fostering a culture of engagement and innovation.
• Drive client satisfaction through effective delivery governance and service excellence.
• Partner with sales and client teams to support revenue generation and growth.
• Lead optimization initiatives across hybrid cloud platforms, driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure strategic alignment of hybrid cloud operations with business goals and objectives.
• P&L Ownership: Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for global hybrid cloud operations, ensuring financial targets are met.
• People Engagement: Foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement among global teams.
• CSAT: Drive client satisfaction (CSAT) through exceptional service delivery and proactive issue resolution.
• Revenue Growth: Partner with sales and client teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth and support business development initiatives.
• Cost Optimization: Implement cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient use of resources and budget adherence.
• Productivity: Enhance productivity through process improvements, automation, and the adoption of best practices.
• Tooling and Process Advancement: Drive advancements in tooling and processes to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Industry Expertise: Bring in industry expertise to drive innovation, growth, and competitive advantage.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience managing hybrid cloud operations at a global level.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and private cloud environments.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to drive strategic alignment and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with global IT operations and regulatory environments.
• Experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $200,000 to $270,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance and an equity grant under our Management Equity Appreciation Program.
