Job Summary
– Responsible for managing enterprise-class storage and SAN fabric environments.
– Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of storage systems and fabrics.
– Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver seamless storage and fabric operations.
– Lead disaster recovery (DR) planning, execution, and lifecycle management of storage and SAN infrastructure.

 

Job Responsibilities
Storage Tasks
– Perform allocation and de-allocation of storage devices to clustered and non-clustered servers, with and without replication.
– Configure and manage replications between storage devices (Hitachi VSP, EMC PMax, Pure Storage).
– Execute Disaster Recovery (DR) and DR drills as per application team requirements.
– Manage application failover and failback processes, ensuring compliance with RPO and RTO objectives.
– Coordinate with vendors for firmware and patch upgrades on storage systems.
– Plan and execute storage-to-storage migrations, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

 Fabric Tasks
– Perform zoning and un-zoning of servers with storages for new and existing setups.
– Monitor and report SAN fabric and switch health issues using appropriate tools.
– Execute SAN switch firmware upgrades, including pre- and post-validation.
– Collaborate with vendors to remediate issues during upgrades and ensure scheduled completion.
– Deploy new SAN switches into existing fabrics.
– Migrate hosts from existing switches to new switches.
– Decommission old SAN switches from fabrics.
– Work with vendors to address identified vulnerabilities in fabric and storage environments.
– Provide necessary reports to clients as per requirements.
– Track and perform lifecycle management in SAN fabrics.
– Conduct IT asset tracking and recording.
– Ensure all activities are performed on Brocade fabrics.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
– Review and validate team members’ configurations and operational tasks.
– Ensure adherence to best practices, compliance standards, and organizational policies.
– Coordinate team activities to meet project timelines and operational goals.
– Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training for team members.

 

Mandatory Skills

Required
– Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent work experience.

Handson experience on EMC,Storage,Fabric L3

 

RECRUITING INFORMATION
– Candidate should be available to work in 24×7 support hours.
– No Permanent work from home.
– Should follow Ensono/Client’s hybrid work model.
– Should be available in office for meetings as required.
