• Fully functional and self-directed

• High complexity assignments- owner
• Moderate and low complexity assignments – owner and provide oversight/review
• Documents server design run books and mentors other with less experience
• Possess a detailed understanding of server hardware components, including blades, enclosures and/or physical servers (Cisco, HP and DELL hardware)
• Complete Hands-on experience on installing, configuring, and managing VMware environments – vSphere ( 6.5, 6.7 & 7.0 )
• Experience in writing batch and shell scripts for automation and information gathering – PowerCLI or Powershell
• Participate in the execution of Disaster Recovery exercises and own specific server tasks – SRM and Zerto
• Knowledgeable with network design, components, and systems interactions
• vROps or any other monitoring tool knowledge is must
• Should be ITIL certified and have hands on experience in ServiceNow ticketing tool
• Basic NSX-T knowledge is a must
• vCloud Director and Nutanix or any other hyper converged tool knowledge will be preferred
• vRealize Automation(vRA) and vRealize Orchestrator(vRO) will be added advantage
• VMware 6.x or 7.x certification preferred
• Horizon View (VDI) knowledge will be an added advantage
• Very good documentation skills
• This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.
