As the Senior Manager of Revenue, you will be a key financial leader at Ensono and a close partner with the Global Accounting and FP&A teams. In this role you will have ownership over revenue accounting and reporting.  

What You Will Do:

  • Revenue Recognition:  Ownership of client contract reviews for proper revenue recognition under ASC 606, monthly revenue close cycle, and ensuring alignment with The Company’s policies.  In addition, this personal will work closely and build relationships with leaders across the business in legal, sales, investing, procurement and operations to educate them on revenue recognition regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Ownership of revenue reporting, variance analysis, and supporting FP&A with budget/forecast.
  • Technical Accounting: Research of complex accounting issues by applying both US GAAP And SEC reporting requirements.  Propose solutions to achieve the desired results both from a working capital and revenue recognition standpoint.
  • External Audit:  Annual US GAAP audit. Develop and maintain relationships that effectively represent the company’s interests with external auditors.  Own the communication with external auditors regarding detail testing around revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and accounts receivable.
  • Information Systems:  Implementing process improvements by leveraging financial systems; including but not limited to Salesforce, Workday financial consolidation system and Adaptive.  Experience with system implementation and/or process improvement initiatives a plus.
  • Document Management:  Will maintain accurate records to facilitate the review of the documents including policies by senior management, external audit, and internal audit teams.
  • Leadership: Serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team and work very closely with the leaders across the organization in FP&A, legal, sales, and operations. Emphasizing high standards for accountability, collegiality, integrity, and professional pride.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, 10+ years of experience in accounting preferably with some public accounting.  CPA preferred.
  • Prior experience with ASC 606 and reviewing contracts for revenue treatment.
  • Experience with Workday financial systems and Adaptive is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented; a problem solver with strong teamwork skills and a strong desire to drive change.
  • Ability to influence through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis and recognize best means of communication depending on audience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills. Inquisitive and positive mindset in approaching complex problems.
