Revenue Recognition Accounting Mgmt (Levels 2 through 6): Develops and implements revenue recognition policies and procedures in conformance with current FASB and SEC guidance. Fully manages compliance of revenue recognition process with GAAP and company standards. Reviews customer contracts for revenue recognition implications and may assist with structuring non-standard transaction details. Responsible for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 requirement as related to revenue recognition. Manages month-end close activities, including assurance of accurate and timely results in cooperation with the general accounting function. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets revenue and margin reports. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Handle Revenue Assurance portfolio and fixing the process breakouts to improve the business unit performance
Responsible for performing revenue audits in all the vertical (Gov/BFSI/Telecom/IT/Manufacturing) for DC clients to avoid revenue leakages (Ex : Infrastructure & Cloud services, Consulting)
Collaborate with Operations, TDMs, CSMs and Billers to ensure RA findings are validated and invoiced as applicable
Must have experience in implementing Quote to cash, Billing Transformation & any other solutions to prevent revenue leakages
Good knowledge about the Reporting tools , Data Sources, Billing tools (Workday, Salesforce)
Work with Global leaders and ensure proper training & education to the team on Department priorities & deliverables
Review & interpret contracts, engage with Solution/Commercial/Client Success /Client Management team to explore new areas for revenue audit.
Responsible for handling account level revenue assurance activities and driving client discussion with Sales & account management team to arrange new service agreement based on revenue findings
Responsible to Engage with onsite & offshore delivery leaders to understand on operations challenges and bridge the gaps to avoid billing leakages
Coordinating with the global delivery leaders and higher management for Quarterly plans and roadmap to achieve it
Work with cross-functional teams in resolving financial and revenue related issues
Perform revenue analysis, calculations and reporting on monthly & Quarterly basis to Revenue Assurance leadership
Develop new strategies to improve accuracy and timeliness of revenue management.
This position may mentor less experienced associates in the role
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree
• Advanced Excel skills including work experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables, Power Point presentations to exec level.
