Job Description: Manager – Network

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager – Network to join our dynamic team. As the Manager – Network, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Senior Engineers and providing technical guidance in the field of network technologies. You will play a crucial role in driving the team's performance, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Senior Engineers, providing direction, support, and guidance. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in network technologies, serving as a subject matter expert to guide and direct the team. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in the network field, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Incident Management: Drive outage calls and facilitate quick resolutions during network-related incidents. Work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.
  • Process Definition: Define and establish robust processes and procedures for managing the primary network infrastructure. Develop and implement guidelines, standards, and policies to ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and security.
  • SLA Management: Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) related to network operations, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of incidents and service requests. Regularly review performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Client Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their network requirements, provide technical solutions, and address any concerns or issues. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrate strong technical leadership skills by guiding the team in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. Provide technical mentorship and training to team members, promoting their professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15+ years of technical experience in network technologies, with a deep understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in people management and leading technical teams.
  • Proven track record in managing a strong technical team, achieving team goals, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization, with a focus on network-related aspects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in defining and implementing network-related processes and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality client service.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Qualification:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate especially in the filed of IT or Computer Science  preferred.
