The Mainframe Technical Trainer’s main responsibility is to enhance the base level skill and competency of our Associate population by designing and conducting training in key Mainframe Skills around Operations, System Programming & Production Control Technologies. They will also be responsible for reviewing and continuously improving the training provided, gaining feedback from all stakeholders, employees, management, and Global Training Team. It is essential for the Trainer to be comfortable in an agile and fast paced environment in a fast-growing company.
The position requires someone front facing, proactive, organized and innovative, with knowledge in the Mainframe training concepts, designs and methods. The position requires someone with deep industry experience, who brings a network and the mindset to capture value for Ensono through building our brand and credentialing the business, as well as someone passionate about technology who is excited to pass on their accumulated wisdom to the future generations. The initial focus of the role will be on generating training material and delivering training in group and on a one to one basis across the various Mainframe disciplines. Lastly, it is important the Trainer acts as a mentor and responsible person with the Associate population. They will need to be credible, approachable and have high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.

The researching, design, developing and delivering of engaging and industry leading Mainframe training materials.
Delivery of training courses in an engaging and professional manner, using a variety of different training delivery techniques.
Technical coaching of Fresher/ Junior Mainframe hires for meeting time bound production readiness into the aligned areas
Conducting and organizing technical interviews and assessments.
Contributing to continual process improvement through cross-department collaboration.
Upskill / reskill existing Mainframe resources across various job levels
Partner with key stakeholders to review, consolidate and strategize on curriculum and delivery modes of custom tailored and structured programs for building & developing Mainframe System Programmers as per India Talent development agenda, with quick turnaround time for scaling up the talent initiatives
Responding to and liaising with Business on new training requests and any performance issues.
Prepare and conduct monthly webinars, events, educational series for our Mainframe Community.
Experienced in training design and development and training delivery.
Strong technical skills in Mainframe Operations, System Programming ( zOS/ISV, VTAM, Storage & Hardware, CICS, MQ, WAS, DB2, Automation ) & Production Control ( Scheduling & Code Promotion ).
First class presentation skills, engaging and passionate delivery.
Expert at Powerpoint and other related software.
Self-confident and able to deal with complexity.
Excellent technical interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to the high-level complex discussions that the business would expect.
Must be able to communicate skills, knowledge and information to facilitate and enable associates to improve their skills.
Good knowledge of Python & Automation Skills
Continuous learning on Future Technologies related to Mainframe Modernization & Cloud enablement.
The candidate should have 10 to 12 years of overall experience.
Should have hands on MF Training experience and subject matter expertise in related subdomains
Coaching and training experience with practical execution skills for hands on lab and practice sessions
