Checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.

JOB ROLE SUMMARY
Checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Frequently provides proven, formal mentorship
Leads or works on high complexity projects
Regularly leads self and is established as a SME
Understands “big picture” view and how it aligns to overall Ensono strategy
Processes transactions and ensures data is properly recorded
Responsible for some JE's and reconciliations
Responsible for the training/supervision of less experienced associates, review of work, enhance/improve processes
Keys invoices into billing system, verifies proof of agreement, proof of delivery, pricing, etc.
Prepares memo billing and provides memo bills to Account Teams
Reconciles memo billing to actual billing
Prepares weekly and monthly required reports
Implements SOX controls for invoicing and revenue recognition
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
High School diploma
Minimum of eight years of experience
Advanced, proven knowledge of accounting
Preferred
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent work experience
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of accounting principles
Viewed as a leader in respective job area
Any reference to years of experience should be disregarded in the UK
