Ensono has an exciting opportunity for a someone with a flair for interacting with new people and is passionate about company culture and the associate experience. We are seeking an Onboarding & Compliance Specialist to serve as champion for new hires into the company. You will enhance, organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process to ensure a successful transition for new hires into the company. In this newly created role, you will be the primary point of contact from offer acceptance through full transition into Ensono. You will work collaboratively with your Culture & People Experience (CPE) peers and hiring managers to create a positive experience for all new joiners in the US. You will also support CPE compliance projects and programs, so good working knowledge of labor legislation and prior experience with HR compliance will set you up for success in this role.
What you can look forward to doing:
Enhance, organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process for new hires into the company
Serve as the primary point of contact for all US new hires following offer acceptance through the full transition into Ensono to help ensure a positive onboarding experience.
Send all required pre-onboarding documentation and communications to the new hire, respond timely to questions and liaise with internal teams as needed to ensure all interested parties have visibility to onboarding status.
Measures participation and engagement efforts of all onboarding activities
Responsible for management of the background check screening process to ensure compliance with Ensono and client standards. Maintain accurate records and serve as the point of contact with Ensono’s background vendor.
Responsible for verifying employment authorization at time of hire and maintaining accurate and updated I-9 records .
Assist in response to employment-related audits and inquiries.
Act as primary point of contact for all US client access requests which require CPE support.
Respond to unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
Support processing of job changes and updates in HRIS system (Workday).
Assist with developing and maintaining various compliance reporting such as VETS and EEO-1 filings and annual AAPs
Assist with CPE projects as assigned.
What we are looking for in you:
Strong relationship builder with the ability to enhance engagement and instill trust in all aspects of the onboarding process
Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
The ability to manage and impart sensitive and confidential information effectively
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience with HR legal and regulatory compliance, including background checks, AAP and EEO reporting, and audit compliance (SOC, ISO a plus)
Critical thinker – ability to identify risks, make good judgments, and solve problems
Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), preferably Workday
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree and of 3 years of HR experience preferred; HR certifications a plus
