About the role and what you'll be doing:

The Manager – Enterprise Technology is responsible for leading a technical team of international associates tasked with delivering high quality solutions to support business directives.  This team focuses on solutions around Okta, Active Directory/Azure AD, Workstation Engineering (Windows and Mac) and the Office 365 platform.  This person establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures.  This individual understands enterprise processes and ensures adherence to policy.  The Manager – Enterprise Technology is driven to find technology solutions to improve the overall global infrastructure, and provide comprehensive recommendations to senior management, both IT and non-IT.  This person is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and implementing proper technology solutions to solve business problems.  This position will often meet with customers and vendors across multiple service lines to recommend solutions and resolve critical situations. This role will also work with peer groups to ensure all support and operational requirements are in alignment with the overall IT strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a people manager of diverse IT Teams
  • Minimum 10 years of related IT experience 
  • Experience managing an Enterprise Technology team 
  • Experience managing a portion of an IT budget 
  • Experience implementing ITIL best practices 
  • Experience leading complex technical projects
  • Experience in environments with formal project management methodologies and practices 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting environments using Okta
  • Experience with Azure AD and on-premise AD
  • Experience administering all aspects of the Office 365 Platform
  • High emotional intelligence

Preferred Qualifications


  • Comfortable communicating with the most senior level of organizational leadership
  • Communicate the overall status for the team, including projects, issue and operational status to audiences that include business area staff and IT management
  • Communicate direction and policies to staff members 
  • Effectively manage customer expectations 
  • Coordinate activities with other IT groups, service lines, customers, and vendors 
  • Present and sell solutions to IT and non-IT leadership 

Issues Management and Resolution

  • Identify, document, analyze and respond to critical events 
  • Manage crisis requiring analysts from multiple teams to resolve 
  • Escalation point as necessary for IT and Business 
  • Analyze issues and formulate solutions 
  • Use external information to research and resolve issues when needed 
  • Strong knowledge with regards to local policies, rights, and standards 
  • Ability to manage multiple issues, priorities and goals 


  • Oversee management of cloud and on-premise solutions 
  • Document processes and procedures 
  • Document and maintain environment standards 
  • Ensure accuracy of invoices 
  • Perform routine system maintenance 

Resource Management: 

  • Prioritize and manage day-to-day responsibilities of IT staff 
  • Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen and/or grow skill sets within the IT team 
  • Track and manage staff time off and schedules 
  • Recommend promotions and organizational changes 
  • Develop and track capacity plan for team 
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring staff 
  • Write performance evaluations and conduct reviews 
  • With support of procurement team, manage vendor relationships 

Project Management: 

  • Drive completion of quality project deliverables, within time and budget 
  • Deliver projects for both IT and directly for the business 
  • Ensure quality control on all projects within area of responsibility
