The Hybrid Cloud Sales Executive role within Ensono is primarily responsible for identifying and converting new prospects in our Azure managed service offerings as well as AWS, Google and Public Cloud.  The Hybrid Cloud Sales Executive will be co-selling across North America.  When prospects are interested in services beyond Azure, the Hybrid Cloud Sales person will partner with the Ensono Senior Account Executive in the joint pursuit.  The role will be responsible for lead generation, partnering with Microsoft field sales, and cultivating inbound opportunities. It is therefore essential that you have demonstrable experience of co-selling and direct selling with account executives. The role demands a professional, credible, and dynamic individual who will thrive on working with direct prospects and Senior Account Executives to identify their needs and maximizing the client’s take-up of the full range of Ensono AWS, Azure, GCP and Public Cloud services. Crucial to your success is the ability to deliver new business sales by identifying new leads and managing the entire sales process from lead to close. You will be capable of selling to a technical audience with input from presales engineers, consultants and advisors.  This role covers all of North America. 

Ensono has a large and growing managed public cloud services business, inclusive of certifications and awards such as Azure Expert MSP, Azure US Datacenter Migration Partner of the Year in 2020 and Azure Data Center Transformation Partner of the Year in 2018, and other areas of expertise across the public cloud eco-system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create pipeline both directly and through Microsoft Azure
  • Quota carrying role
  • Focused on selling Ensono Private Cloud, AWS, MSFT Azure, and GCP. 
  • Hunter – New Logo Only
  • This role will have its own quota and direct selling motion.
  • Manage pipeline and opportunities to meet bookings targets
  • Create your own Microsoft Azure field co-selling motion
  • Network to identify new direct prospect engagements across North America.
  • Hunt new business through:
    • Targeting marketing activities
    • Develop prospecting plans with Ensono Sr. AE’s across North America
    • Cultivating relationships with key Microsoft contacts
    • Account mapping against existing customers / verticals
    • Personal Prospecting
  • Selling the full portfolio of Microsoft Azure services, with specific focus Cloud Native, DevOps, and Platform-as-a-Service and associated transformation services
  • Use Salesforce and partner pipeline trackers to record all activity
  • Travel throughout North America as the Hybrid Cloud Sales Specialist

Skills

  • A true ‘hunter’ sales professional, with demonstrable success over a prolonged period
  • Demonstrable experience of selling managed (public cloud) hosting services and associated consultancy
  • Experience of working with Microsoft cloud technologies
  • Excellent networker with experience working at end-client Cxo-level and within Microsoft
  • Ability to articulate solution, technology and product positioning from a commercially driven business perspective
  • Ability to sell Cloud Native Application Development and operational managed services in public or private cloud
  • Understands how to take a customer business problem and create new applications using microservices and other tools in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiar with AI, machine learning, data lake, and all the cloud native application capabilities that layer onto infrastructure managed services in private and public cloud
