Role description as ChangeMan-Engineer

Responsibilities

• Cooperation by the modernization of our business application development tools
• Implementation and upgrade of Change Management Tools based on the IBM mainframe platform  
• Design and realization of requirements
• Responsibility for stable and efficient Change Management processes on z/OS systems
• Second level support for the mainframe Change Management tool
• Manage or collaborate in various projects

Skills and Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience as a MicroFocus ChangeMan ZMF engineer
• Experience with software development processes
• Well-founded knowledge of the z/OS operating system  (TSO, ISPF, JCL, REXX, VSAM)
• Experience in a Cobol- / CICS- / DB2 programming environment and a good knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Cobol)
• Broad Unix and XML knowledge
• Adequate SQL knowledge
• know-how in testing utilities and processes
• communication skills: ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences

• English language skills, both in speaking and writing
