Individual contributor role and primary capacity support contact on several client accounts. The staff/career level capacity planner role has responsibilities on assigned client accounts. This level provides assistance to other capacity team members with their assigned accounts. Mentoring Jr team members and providing insights to other functional areas in the organization. Supporting capacity projects and core strategic initiatives. Typically has working knowledge on one or more focused platform (mainframe, distributed, cloud, network, storage) deployed in support of corporate IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include support of repeatable processes for providing KPI metrics aligned with organizational and client commitments. Supporting projects to develop repeatable processes and automation to produce turnkey solutions which are deployable on our supported environments. Supporting new and existing data mining initiatives of available data lake repositories used to streamline accurate and repeatable metrics deliverables. Engaged in support of diagnostics and resolution contributing to incident root cause investigation. Support senior team members on performance analysis using internally developed tools/processes and vendor products to increase efficiency through automation and/or standard processes as appropriate. Stays engaged with industry trends, products and service offerings, which are relevant to existing and emerging technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities Program coding experience JCL and/or script coding experience MXG or like tools expertise Microsoft Office proficiency Manage multiple projects with minimal support and continuing shifting priorities Support multiple client environments each having unique requirements and requests Database and data warehouse concepts and experience Weekend support infrequent but possible (1 out of 10 weekends) Support team on-call rotation KPI identification and definition Proficient level verbal and written communication skills Provide mentoring to lower level job roles as needed
Qualifications Required – Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience Preferred – Understands the competitive landscape from both a business and technical perspective Travel % – 10% Any reference to years of experience should be disregarded in the UK
