BSC DELTA-Macro Configuration (MVS Platform)

In this role you are part of a high-performing team of technical Cobol programmers, committed to quality providing software development and maintenance of  complex, core banking infrastructure middleware components.

As an Delta-Macro Manager, you will have the opportunity to analyze business application configuration demands, configure and test business application Delta-Macro for Core-Banking Cobol programs. In addition you will convert Delta-Macros into native JAVA code artifacts

Role: Tech engineer, ZS1712, ITO, Level 2

 

1.1.              Position Responsibilities   

• Maintenance and development of the existing Delta-Macros (DMC)
• Implementation of new business application requirements
• Technical testing and integration of changed/new Macros
• Work with clients to support, resolve issues and validate requirements within their specific areas of responsibility
• Conduct quality assurance activities such as nightly build and test cases

1.2.              Required skills

• Experience in analysis, design, programming, testing, quality assurance and software process improvement experience.
• Experience with IBM mainframe Cobol

• Experience with Mainframe tools like TSO/ISPF

• Experience in SCM utilities such as Gitlab
• Experience in ECLIPSE based IDEs
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications
• English language skills, both in speaking and writing
