About the role and what you’ll be doing: 

• Install, manage, upgrade and administer the Atlassian applications – JIRA, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Crowd, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Sonar
• Manage Atlassian Access and Atlassian Cloud products (Jira, Confluence)
• Recommend, install, manage, upgrade and administer add-ons, plugins, and extensions for the Atlassian applications
• Determine ways to optimize/improve the Atlassian applications and environment
• Provide Subject Matter Expert advice for the Atlassian applications
• Create and maintain JIRA custom workflows and Groovy scripts
• Create and manage security schemes, custom fields and configurations
• Perform consolidations of Atlassian application instances
• Perform LDAP filter changes and directory changes in Crowd
• Perform Bamboo agent installation and configuration
• Design and update AWS CloudFormation templates
• Implement automation using Ansible
• Partner with other IT staff to coordinate infrastructure maintenance and system migrations
• Ability to use monitoring and other tools to diagnose performance issues
• Maintain best practices and compliance policies
• Interact with vendors for support and troubleshooting
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed including occasional weekends and evenings
• Work on other duties as assigned
• This role will be supporting a US client so there working hours are 12pm – 8pm

Your experience and skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification is a plus
• Working experience with GitLab is a plus
• Experience managing GitHub Enterprise is a plus
• Experiencing consolidating Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket instances is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in implementation and customization of Atlassian applications
• 5+ years of experience performing migrations and upgrades of the Atlassian applications
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with AWS
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Ansible automation framework and/or Ansible Tower
• Administration experience of Linux and Windows
• Working experience with Postgres database is a plus
• Working experience with JIRA Service Management a plus
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, detailed oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and share knowledge with the team
